  • Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass es diese Seite noch gibt, aber war damals mit mein erster Hauptanlaufpunkt für Informationen. Auch wenn die Domain-Endung etwas zwielichtig anmutet, es ist drin was dran steht :)

    Simon Harrison hat sich vor einigen Jahren die Mühe gemacht, die Daten einschlägiger Nachschlagewerke als Datenbank zusammenzufassen. Seit dem kann man unter Three Decks - Warships in the Age of Sail allerhand Daten zu Schiffen und Offizieren suchen und finden.


    Unter British Battles findet man hauptsächlich kurze Infos und Bilder zu Gefechten an Land, daneben aber auch Infors zu einer Reihe Seegefechte mit britischer Beteiligung.

    Ich weiß gar nicht, ob wir den schon hatten, aber hab ihn gerade zum Ersten Mal entdeckt und da sind einige schöne Bilder auch von Klamotten (ne feine Sache für die Reenactor unter uns oder diejenigen die es noch werden wollen).
